William Mibei – Executive Director
William is a PhD candidate (Strategic Management), UON and holds a Master of Business Administration (Strategic Management), B.Com Marketing/Business & Management. In his professional work, William is recognized as an expert in leadership, administration and marketing with special emphasis on strategic management. He is a member of Kenya Red Cross Society- Audit and Risk Committee, Board Member at the Boma Hotels, President- Rotary Club of Westlands and Past Vice Chairman of Finance Committee, Kenya Red Cross Society among many community responsibilities.

Nerisa Kamar represents SMR International in Africa. As the company’s Knowledge Management Consultant for Sub-Sahara clients, Nerisa is recognized for her knowledge management (KM) expertise among colleagues in several African countries. She has a strong background in information and knowledge management and with her expertise provides professional advice for a wide variety of assignments relating to KM, knowledge services, and knowledge strategy development.
As organizations seek to build a strengthened framework for enterprise-wide knowledge development and knowledge sharing (KD/KS), Nerisa’s skills are applied in many different client situations. She is based in Nairobi, Kenya and her background includes work with the Knowledge Management Unit of UN-HABITAT (the United Nations Human Settlements Programme) and the agency’s Vieira de Mello United Nations Library at Nairobi, IAO (Information Africa Organization), Egerton University where she was a specialist in e-library management and course content development, she has participated in the development of institutional knowledge strategies.

Edward Lodenyo, Programme Officer Training and Communication
Edward Lodenyo – Programme officer, Training and Communication
Edward is a skilled Knowledge Manager with a cross-functional expertise in ICT and Information Management. He is also an experienced Librarian and educator, combining good organizational, interpersonal communication and research skills. He brings in a rich experience having worked as an Information Management Consultant at UN-Habitat’s Knowledge Management Unit. He has also served as the IT and Communication Specialist at Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD) and as College Librarian at Oshwal College.

Sharon is an accomplished trainer and administrator. She currently handles the training on Knowledge Management/knowledge services fundamentals, as well as developing knowledge strategies for clients in conjunction with the team. When not training, Sharon ensures the smooth and efficient running of IAO as the administrator.She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Kabarak University.

Victor Connes – Programme officer, Finance
Victor is a graduate holding B.Com (Finance option),Univeirsty of Nairobi. He is currently pursuing ACCA (professional level) qualifications at Strathmore University.In a bid to gain further understanding and gain a global perspective he attended London School Of Economics summer school for Advanced Corporate Governace, Options Futures and Derivatives Modules. Before Joining IOA, he worked as a Finance Officer in the travel Industry.
