Information Africa Organization (IAO)

Who We Are

Information Africa Organization (IAO) was registered in September 2009 in Nairobi, Kenya. We enable access to, use of, and sharing of knowledge and information through structured knowledge services, improving livelihoods and institutional performance.

Our work spans Knowledge Management, Archives & Records Management, Libraries, and Resource Centres, supporting individuals, institutions, and communities to harness knowledge as a development resource.

Accredited as an observer to the UN Environment Governing Body, IAO focuses on youth capacity building in ICTs and Knowledge Management to enhance employability and sustainable livelihoods.
